Amoka is a multi-disciplinary real estate agency and consultancy firm, based in Hammersmith London. Amoka’s goal is to streamline real estate for all clients, from seasoned professional investors, to first time home-owners and real estate investors. Our services cover both Commercial and Residential asset classes and investment, and occupier properties.

Amoka was founded by Sawan Ruparel MRICS and Gurtej Kaur. The vision of the firm since its origin was to be a Director led real estate company focused on long-term client relationships and holistic real estate advice based on supporting clients to make the best decisions possible in a modern and complex real estate market.

The founders of Amoka are first and foremost real estate investors themselves with global portfolios of both residential and commercial real estate. Our Director and Co-founder Sawan Ruparel is a Chartered Surveyor with institutional real estate experience from JLL and Cushman and Wakefield, covering commercial property management, real estate investment and agency, and real estate valuation. Gurtej Kaur is an Interior Architect by profession and has experience from all three major global real estate consultancies, including CBRE, JLL & Cushman & Wakefield. The two Directors bring their combined 14 years institutional experience and their personal multi-distritional property investment experience to Amoka’s clients.

GURTEJ KAUR

Co-Founder & Director

Gurtej Kaur is the Co-founder and Director of Amoka Limited, a London-based property investment and development firm specializing in sourcing high-value and off-market opportunities across the UK for both domestic and international investors. With a background as an Interior Architect, Gurtej brings a unique perspective to real estate, focusing on sustainable construction methods and design-led value creation.

Her professional journey includes experience at three of the world’s largest real estate consultancies, where she advised on valuation, project management, and marketing. She has also worked as an estate agent in North West London, guiding clients through every stage of the property transaction process—from initial valuation to final handover.

At Amoka, Gurtej leverages her expertise to provide clients with commercially minded advice on maximizing property value and comfort. She maintains a trusted network of suppliers and contractors, enabling her to assist clients with projects ranging from minor refurbishments to complete redevelopments.

Beyond her work in the UK, Gurtej is actively involved in expanding Amoka's international presence. In April 2025, she co-hosted an investment event in Nairobi, Kenya, in partnership with API Global, aimed at connecting Kenyan investors with UK property opportunities.

With a blend of design acumen, market insight, and a global outlook, Gurtej Kaur continues to drive Amoka's mission to be the gateway to UK real estate investment.

SAWAN RUPAREL MRICS

Co-Founder & Director

Sawan Ruparel MRICS is the Co-founder and Director of Amoka Limited, a London-based property investment and development firm specializing in sourcing high-value and off-market opportunities across the UK for both domestic and international investors. As a Chartered Surveyor, Sawan brings extensive experience in property management, commercial agency, and investment, having worked at some of the world’s largest global real estate consultancies.

Sawan has managed large commercial office units and has been involved in the London commercial agency and investment market, focusing on emerging office markets such as Shoreditch and the South Bank. His expertise extends to managing transactions for large real estate firms seeking office spaces across global markets.

At Amoka, Sawan leverages his experience to assist clients with selling, letting, or managing their properties. As a registered valuer under the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, he provides desktop valuations for both commercial and residential properties.

Sawan is also instrumental in expanding Amoka's international presence. In April 2025, he co-hosted an investment event in Nairobi, Kenya, in partnership with API Global, aiming to connect Kenyan investors with UK property opportunities.
